ABOUT

Sona is an Indian name meaning “gold,” and there is no better way to describe the caliber of our work. Our art is capturing you, your events and all the emotion that naturally occurs during such a special moment in your life. Our vow to you is to deliver timeless images that you and generations to come can appreciate year after year. We are as dedicated to you as we are to our passion for photography. For this reason, we limit our weddings to 3 a month to ensure we can give you our attention. We believe we are not just in the photography business, When you hire Sona, you know that two professional photographers will be there to capture the organic moments and beauty of your event; unlike other studios that may work with assistant or apprentice photographers. Outside of our portrait work, we photograph your event editorially as wedding photojournalists. Wedding photographers "direct" the scene to fit their vision. Wedding photojournalists capture your vision in an artistic way. “It is one thing to photograph people. It is another to make others care about them by revealing the core of their humanness.” Paul Strand.

Florida Indian Wedding Reception by Sona Photography

If I had it my way, I would have a wedding type reception every year, and I would want this year’s extravaganza to look just like this reception.  It’s a little bit of crystal, with loads of orchids, all wrapped up in a purple meets blue color palette that I have been swooning over all day. And, do you blame me?  With the awes...

Buddhist Hindu Fusion Ceremony by Sona Photography

I am beyond excited to share today’s Japanese Indian fusion wedding with all of you today.  This fusion ceremony has all the high notes of a great nuptials.  Take for example this dramatic mandap.  I simply adore this dressed up gold, oldie-but-goodie mandap, but the way it was designed makes it look brand new. With gorgeous im...
